Our school meal provider is Feeding Hungry Minds (part of ISS Education). Full information can be found at their website www.feedinghungryminds.co.uk.  Please see below for school lunch menu.  Flushdyke has a receiving kitchen which means our school meals are not cooked on the premises. Our meals are cooked by kitchen staff at St Peters J & I School and are then transported to us in heated containers.

School meals cost £2.53 per day (£12.65 per week) and are paid by registering online with Feeding Hungry Minds.  We expect good table manners and good behaviour at all times during the lunch break. Changes from packed lunch to school meals can be made at any time. We would ask you to inform office staff of any changes.

Dinners
Children have a choice of main courses and puddings that are well balanced, nutritious and varied. Children choose their meal during registration each morning. Water is provided to all children throughout lunch.

Sandwiches
Packed lunches are eaten together with children eating school meals. Sandwich boxes should be clearly marked with the child’s name and class. Please do not send any drinks in lunchboxes as water is provided throughout lunch.

Fruit
All children in Foundation Stage and KS1 receive free fruit each day.
