Flying High Club is our thriving Before and After School Club.
Our Aim is to provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment where children feel protected and valued.
By feeling safe in Flying High Club, children are supported to grow in confidence, develop independence, and build positive relationships, enabling them to fly high in their learning, play, and personal development before and after the school day.
Our dedicated staff team are caring and professional. All staff are fully DBS checked, with a qualified first aider on site at all times. Staff adhere to school policies and procedures.
Flying High Club is run by the school and is held on the school premises.
A registration form requires completing before first attendance. This can be obtained from the school office or can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.

BOOKING
If you would like your child to attend Flying High Club either before or after school, please contact Mrs Noreen Higgins, our Flying High Club Supervisor, to book your child's place. Please email Noreen with your requirements by 12pm on a Friday for the following week. Any emails sent after this may not be picked up until the following week, and it may be that a place for your child will not be available.
If you would like to book regular days for your child over a longer period, you are able to book up to a full half-term in advance. Please state this in your email if this is the case.
Contact email for Mrs Higgins is: nhiggins@flushdyke.wakefield.sch.uk
CANCELLATION OF SESSIONS
24 hours notice must be given if you wish to cancel a booking. If 24 hours notice is not given, then the charge for the relevant booking will still be made.
If the booking is for a Monday, then notice must be given by Friday morning to avoid a charge.
If your child does not attend either club for their booked place and no notification has been received, then the charge will automatically be made for the full place.
Exceptions to the late cancellation charge would be if your child was ill and not at school. It would, however, still be your responsibility to notify Mrs Higgins of the cancellation.
Please do not contact the school office regarding regular Flying High Club bookings. Please only do so if you need to make an emergency same-day cancellation or booking and you are unable to contact Mrs Higgins.
